Lairenmayum Sheibyashachi (L.M.S) Law College started in the year 1958 with the vision of “imparting excellent legal education” to the students. It gives us a great pleasure to introduce our law college to be the oldest law college in Manipur. Since the law is the foundation of every society or a nation, legal education of the people is essential. Legal education helps individuals to make responsible decisions and protect themselves from exploitation or injustice. When citizens are aware of the laws that govern them, they are more likely to respect and follow those laws and it will contribute to the development of the nation. It is the law alone that brings equality amongst unequals. L.M.S Law college is co-educational institute and one of the constituent colleges of Dhanamanjuri University. Our college environment is conducive for students to acquire requisite skill-set as we encourage participation in curricular and co-curricular activities such as moot court exercise, academic seminar, workshop and dynamic class room discussions etc. With qualified faculty members, dedicated non-teaching staffs and well-equipped library, the college strive to achieve excellence in the field of legal education.
